Describe your role at Hungerford Technology
In my role, I focus on onsite deliverables. My day-to-day includes workstation deployment, network equipment installation, and support, with the goal of customer satisfaction.
What is an accomplishment you are especially proud of?
We were able to successfully restore a customer’s legacy windows computer from backup, eliminating a costly replacement.
Tell us a little about yourself outside of work
I enjoy cooking, woodworking, and tinkering with my home-lab in my spare time.
What’s a fun fact that most people may not know about you?
I worked in tool and die manufacturing for 10 years before switching to IT.
What is the best IT tip or advice you would share with others?
For important data, try incorporating a backup technique like the 3-2-1 rule. Three copies of your data, stored on two different types of media, with one copy kept off-site. This will help reduce the risk of data loss.
