Describe your role at Hungerford Technology
In my role, I focus on building better systems for our people and our clients. My day-to-day includes improving processes, mentoring the team, and looking for opportunities to automate or simplify work, with the goal of making support more consistent, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone.
What is an accomplishment you are especially proud of?
I’m most proud of building things that last. Whether it’s a new process, an automation, better documentation, or a new way of approaching support, I enjoy creating improvements that make life easier for the team long after the original problem is solved.
Tell us a little about yourself outside of work
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancée, Mara, and our two dogs, Flynn and Fiona. I’m a big fan of Arsenal, Notre Dame, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Detroit Tigers, and I love getting lost in a good book or video game. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, and learning about history, geography, technology, or really anything that sparks my curiosity.
What’s a fun fact that most people may not know about you?
I’m naturally curious and love learning how things work. Whether it’s history, geography, sports statistics, weather, or technology, I enjoy digging into the “why” behind things and often end up going down a rabbit hole just for the fun of it.
What is the best IT tip or advice you would share with others?
If a pop-up tells you that you’ve won a free iPhone, congratulations, you’ve actually won a conversation with the IT.
